Recognizing animal welfare groups and advocates that drive forward change in their community

Driving Forward

  • Rescue Rides

Animals are transported from multiple areas including; intake facilities, former homes, foster homes, veterinary offices, current homes, and in the field. They are brought to rescue facilities, foster or adoptive homes, owner’s homes, and veterinary visits. Access to transportation ensures lifesaving efforts and ongoing wellness of animals.

  • Community Collaborators

We are proud to partner with over 15 national intake facilities, 40 plus Midwest Based Animal Welfare Organizations, and 4 community-based service partners.

  • Owner Support

In 2019, we recognized the impact of access to transportation for current owners to veterinary care and adopters for their ride home. There is limited, if any access to public transportation in Chicagoland that allows animals on board. We have removed the barrier of transportation through financially sponsoring a ride or providing the ride itself for 8 owners and delivered pet supplies for over 50 households thanks to partnerships with current pet owner support organizations.
